The worship service of CGST whose primary purpose is to bring the people of God together in the praise & worship of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, be inspired by his word and be encouraged by the fellowship with one another.
The Praise and Worship service is held every Sunday evening at 5.30pm (excluding the 4th Sunday evening when we have a combined service at 8.30am).
All worship services are presided over by our Priest-in-Charge and takes the form of Praise and Worship lead by our dynamic and vibrant worship team that creates an environment that frees your minds & spirits to unashamedly, exuberantly and reverently worship our saviour and prepare your heart for God’s word.
The sermons preached on most evenings are projected by power point and sermon notes are shared with anyone interested via e-mail.
Included into the service is the ministry of the word, confession and Holy Communion. There are at times opportunities, for all gathered to share testimonies of God’s Goodness and faithfulness as encouragement for each other and prayer for personal and corporate needs as well. Our service though being carefully planned out every week is also very informal and spontaneous as we give full control of the agenda of the evening over to the Holy Spirit.
