A Prayer for the New Year
Heavenly Father, as we step into this new year
We come before You with a grateful heart.
Thank You for Your faithfulness in the year past
and for the promise of Your presence in the year to come.
We ask for Your blessings upon this new beginning.
Guide our steps, guard our hearts,
and grant us wisdom for the journey ahead.
Help us to trust in Your perfect plan, even when the path is
unclear.
May this year be one of growth in faith, increase in love,
and deepening in our relationship with You.
Let our lives be a testimony to Your grace and goodness.
In all things, may we seek to honor You and serve others.
We commit this year to You, Lord.

Every month the church supports Dev Siri Sevana, Retired Clergy,
Christ Church Hambantota, The Samaritan Pledge and Board of
Social Responsibility of the Diocese among many other ministries
work.
If you are moved to contribute towards these outreach ventures,
you may do so by marking the specific donations in the
collections.

Special Church Events in December 2025
WEDNESDAYS
The Young At Heart Group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every
month at 9.30 a.m. in the Parish Hall for fun filled activities and
fellowship. All over 60’s are welcome; bring along a friend (nonparishioner) to join in the fun too!!
